St. Xavier’s High School, Vyapar Vihar, celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The event was graced by Dr. Seema Rai, Dean of GGDCU Bilaspur, as the Chief Guest. Professor Ashish Sharma, Head of the English Department at D.P. Vipra College, Bilaspur, attended as the Guest of Honour. Special Guests S.P. Chaturvedi and V. Rama Rao also added to the occasion’s splendor. Dr. B.B. Mahata, Chief Education Officer and Principal of the school, presided over the event.

The program commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting and a Saraswati Vandana, setting a divine tone for the day. Following this, students showcased mesmerizing cultural performances, including a captivating song and dance competition that enthralled the audience.

An annual exhibition was also organized, where students displayed a variety of creative and educational projects. The exhibition featured models from science, arts, and social sciences, reflecting the students’ innovative ideas and hard work, which garnered appreciation from all attendees.

Chief Guest Dr. Seema Rai extended her heartfelt wishes to the students on Children’s Day and praised their efforts. She emphasized the importance of such events in fostering confidence and encouraging students to explore their talents. Guest of Honour Prof. Ashish Sharma also lauded the students and highlighted the significance of balancing academics with extracurricular activities for holistic development.
